I could see a tension between student-focused events, incorporation into classroom making, and visitors to campus.

They're cataloged and available for check out, mostly by faculty. Everything needed for a variety of crafts of one kind are packed up into a rolling tote that can easily be taken into the classroom. There's a painting & air-dry clay kit, a hand-sewing kit, jewelry-making, etc. The instructor gets a checklist to ensure all items come back and directions on cleaning specific items and what other materials they need to supply.
