This project caught my eye because it is a very creative use of neckties and it turns a typically old-fashioned male garment into something colourful and unexpected. It made me think that making a skirt out of strips of fabric might actually be a doable project for me because I have a sewing machine at home and it mainly involves basic straight seams.
