After picking up my GCSE results I came through to Barnsley college to enrol to the sports and exercise science course.
We sat down and talked through my results.
I got accepted onto the higher course and did very well.
Could’ve been more open and asked more questions about the course I was doing.

I joined a new open age football team when I was 15.
I talked to the manager and got told I couldn’t play until I was 16 but that I had got into the team.
I made it into the team and now in the starting 11 every week until now.
Spoke more with my teammates and got the know them better than what I did at the time.

I went for a job interview.
We sat down in a room together and answered some questions about myself and the job.
The interview went well for my first time and I gained many positive from it.
I could’ve be more composed and more prepared for the questions.

Last week I took part in the MTA activity, we were wilting as a team to build different things such as a chair. We spoke and decided on an idea. We spoke to let everyone know their part and keep organised. We managed to make a chair and everyone kept their part and no one got confused. The idea of the chair as it didn’t work very well.

In coaching we had to make a mini session about rounders. We were focusing on throwing and catching so we came up with a simple and fun game that involved everyone. We planned the game got make sure everyone understood so we’d be able to easily explain the drill. We managed to get everyone involved and they understood the drill. It was a fun game and everyone enjoyed it so it made us feel like we did a good job. We could plan more time appropriate next time as we couldn’t move onto another drill.

Last week in coaching we had to deliver a badminton session and the aim was the backhand technique. We worked as a team to come up with a plan to make sure everyone could get involved n perfect their backhand technique. Everyone was involved and it lasted the full 10 minutes. The overall session as it wasn’t planned to perfection and people were sat waiting, we could’ve made sure no one was sat around.
