Although they drew up borders, none of the men thought about the people in Africa and none had ever been to the country. This caused mass chaos and slavery all over Africa. Although the European countries colonized in Africa they soon just gave up the land, after they had gotten most of the natural resources and slave labour. To this day Africa still has many problems with government, civil wars, clean water, and famine, even though less border problems exist.

Sometimes you get lucky and are placed by people you like which can benefit in some ways. Africa is also one of the poorest places on earth. Peoples vocation about it is very bad.

Even after all of the countries like France and Britain gave up the countries to become their owe countries the borders are still messed up the governments have not decided to put the different religions where they belong, with other people that like the same thing and have just left them the way they are and then do nothing about the conflict that is happening all throughout the countries.

Fourteen countries met at a meeting called the Berlin Conference, and discussed and talked about the continent Africa. The purpose of the conference was to decide what countries, the four main ones being, Britian, France, Belgium and Portugal, got to own what land in Africa they wanted. This was very unfair to the people of Africa because they already lived in Africa and the four countries just drew lines of what land they wanted. This later caused many issues for the people of Africa. When the people who declared the land arrived, it resulted in the increase of child and woman slaves. They were treated very harsh and this resulted in millions of people getting murdered or just dying cause the conditions they were in. Also, a lot of people got their hands cut off for punishment. There was another huge issue that occurred from the Berlin Conference. When the countries drew the lines, they did not think about the people who were living in that country and ended up getting split and forced to live with their enemies. This resulted in wars between groups of people who lived in Africa and caused many innocent people to die. Overall, after the Berlin Conference was held, Africa had many issues such as war and slavery which divided the continent in many ways. So that is why I think that the African Borders had the most issues out of the three we discussed in class.

In another video a South Korean soldier used a bull horn to try and contact the North Korean side and the North Korean side would not respond. The two governments are very different and neither side agrees with the other, that's why they are so harsh and always have straight faces. On the northwestern side of the place was Pakistan(Muslim), and the rest was India(Hindu). The Muslims in the south and east fled over to Pakistan. The Hindus in the northwest fled to the south and east. During this migration, many were killed or injured. The migration did large damage to the population. Currently, the border is still the same and the two countries still hate eachother.
