My design concept is to make out drawings using the 3 most basic shapes - a Circle, a Rectangle and a Triangle - and I have designed a house and a car for my AutoCAD assignment. The car is made up of rectangles for the body, headlight and bumper along with part of the car seats, circles made up the wheels and triangles add up to a complete car seat. Having to work with only 3 shapes, I kept my designs simple and made sure to plan ahead before drawing. I made sure the circles were near perfect to avoid confusion when I brought it to autocad. Both my drawings are relating to my desire to travel. The drawing of the train is because it is only transport I do not suffer motion sickness from. For my first AutoCAD assignment, I drew a shooting star as well as a truck using circles, squares and triangles. For the light of the truck, I find it difficult to match the drawing because my drawing was not that accurate and thus for that I did not use the function LINE but just drew it using the mouse and thus for that it was not accurate. My drawing of the shooting star uses 8 triangles, 2 circles and 2 squares while for my truck I used 7 triangles, 4 circles and 15 squares.
