Next time I'll think of changing tiny things that I unsconsciously do when when I think of real change.
The tips at the end are great. Sart small and the thing you hate at the beginning will end up being missed.
The psychological rationale is explained in simple terms: it's the habit loop that a person needs to break (I mean bad-habits loops :)

It is something physiological in fact. It is our awareness of that fact and envisioning ourselves wherever we want to be what makes the difference between developing/keeping the good ones and avoiding/quitting the bad ones.

Some of the oddest things are translated as rewards and result in dopamjne being released. When I think about rewards, I usually associate something big, but in the video, the speaker talked about planting a virtual tree and that was enough of a reward to change his work habits. It's something to keep in mind - rewards don't have to be big, or even real.

We have become prisoners of our cellphones and one of the best things we can do is go offline and focus on our tasks. However, it is important to have some kind of reward to encourage us to keep working on that habit. We can give ourselves a reward (some kind of treat) so we feel good when doing it. We can take this idea to different situations to start making new habits.
