After continuing to read this story about the beginning of the Yellow Fever epidemic, I want to read more. I want to know, in graphic detail, what is happening. I want to read of peril, and mass distress amongst the Philadelphians. I want to read the most macabre events to ever transpire, and I want detail. Oh, how I yearn for this short story to be longer. Little minute stories such as this really leave the reader craving more, don't you think? Especially when something so grim just started brewing. Oh, woe is me!

I think that the title has something to do with grossness around America. In the first few paragraphs, the subjects that they are talking about are very disgusting. For the simple fact is that must smell very bad. if I were there, I would've tried to find a way to leave. There was obviously a serious illness that was killing people. I wouldn't want to get it so I would try to leave.
