Johannes Gutenberg

A “Global Economy” (where countries are affected by the industry of others) begins. An increase in standard of living. Appearance and growth of the middle class. Technology, transportation, and communication begin growing at an extreme rate. The world population's dramatic increase. In some ways, the Industrial Revolution has never stopped.

As we progress through time European nations begin to try and build empires through Africa. Conflicts erupts between British and Dutch colonists over the discovery of diamond/gold. The British win-and agree to share control. Then the British established South Africa. Indigenou people receive no voting rights. And African regions are only used to benefit European colonists. Europeans promoted ideas of fairness, democracy, and equality yet Africans were not given these.This laid the foundation for negative economic impacts we see today

Grigori was known as “debauched” as a child. As he grew the word spread that he could heal the sick and predict the future. Rasputin worked for the royal family of Russia on many occasions. During his lifetime Rasputin had many attempts of his life but as we would find he was a very hard to kill. But eventually he was killed.

On August 6th 1945 President Truman orders the bomb “Little Boy” to be dropped on Hiroshima. 80,000 are dead in minutes. Then on August 9th 1945, Truman orders the bomb, “Fat Man”, to be dropped on Nagasaki. 39,000 are dead in minutes. This eventually leads Japan to surrender. And this decision by Truman would prove to be one of the most influential in history.
