I loved the film because it shows how shy and sensitive Eilis becomes a confident woman. In spite of feeling homesick, lonely and strange in a new place, she doesn‘t give up but seeks to learn new things. She is not satisfied with the things she has but wants to know more, to reach her dream. Her words say everything about her character: You'll feel so homesick that you'll want to die, and there's nothing you can do about it apart from endure it. But you will, and it won't kill you. And one day the sun will come out - you might not even notice straight away, it'll be that faint. And then you'll catch yourself thinking about something or someone who has no connection with the past. Someone who's only yours. And you'll realize... that this is where your life is.

I liked the film because Eilis's letters tells everything what happens when she has greater ambitions and moves to Brooklyn, New York, leaving her mother and sister. Her sister Rose also wrote letters to Eilis about life in Ireland. It also shows yearning and love in that family. The letters help you to understand immigrants life, their experiences and feelings after leaving home and that how hard is to start a new life in another country alone. Letters reveal that Eilis's sister Rose is very understanding and supportive, and Eilis is emotionally strong and caring sister and daughter. So that way we can see two lives in different countries.

I love this film, because Eilis story reveals what is the life of immigrants, what are the difficulties they are facing and how they resolve, also how immigration can change person. At a beginning Eilis is very shy girl who, it seems isn't ready for new life in big city, later on she becomes strong and self-confident women. I really liked various details in the film, like clothes, colours, nature..In general, I liked the fact that the film is about an earlier period than now. I also liked the idea that love is a very important force - the main reason why Eilis would choose America (not Ireland) is not good job or better life, that is Tony - her love. All in all, this story shows that America is a country of dreams, but even there your dreams will come true only after experiencing a lot of difficulties.

This is an interesting movie about the choice of life for a young girl. The film reveals the lives of immigrants in America and Ireland. Life in Brooklyn helps to reveal the character of the main hero Eilis. When she arrives in America, she finds a boyfriend Jim Farrell. Eilis get good work in a luxury shop, take accountant courses in the evening. She dreams of becoming a financier like her sister Rauze. When she returned to Ireland she get good job, a new boyfriend, but her great love did not die and she returned to her boyfriend.

I loved the film because it was very interesting and exciting. When Eilis moved to Brooklyn she was very shy and a little bit scared but later she was like other person. I loved that she change for the better. She was confident, strong woman. She found good friends, job and an amazing italian guy Tony.
This film shows a lot of feelings, the life in another unfamiliar country, difficulties and the experiences.

I liked this movie because it is exciting and full of various emotions that involve me, such as joy, hapiness, sadness. This film shows how one’s life can change after immigrations and new opportunities one gets. When Eilis lives in Ireland she is a shy and humble girl wearing bright non - existent colored clothes. However, when she moves to Brooklyn she becomes a completely different girl. I liked the way her personality changed. She becomes brave, strong and independent of anyone. She finds a good job and a man who she gets married with. I admire Eilis changes and her courage.

I like this film because it is about hard immigrant life. To make it easier Eilis sister Rose organize Eilis trip to America. Eilis life in America started with job at a department store but there she was shy and quiet. Then she fell in love with Tony and they get married. She must arrive to Irish because her sister died. But in the end she decided to live in America.

I reccomended this film because actually is exceptional, a gorgeous film about love and also the struggles of immigrants.

First of all, I don't really like drama or romantic films, but this film was interesting, film was about two sisters and how is hard immigrants life, sister Rose one day organize to Eilis trip to other country -
America. Girl started to work in departament store and she falls in love with local guy, than they get married. After month Eilis must arrive to Irish because her sister Rose died. At the end Eilis final decide to live in America.

Today I'd like to tell you my opinion about this film called "Brooklyn". It's about a girl who searches adventure and falls in love.
Honestly I don't know if I liked the film. I don't like movies about romance, so it was hard to watch it. But the story still was interesting to watch.
To sum it up I deffinetly enjoyed it and it was fun to watch. I recommend you to watch it, you won't be dissapointed.
