Key aspects of adab towards mankind:

• Respect for human dignity: All individuals, regardless of their race, religion, or social status, should be treated with respect and dignity. This includes avoiding insulting or humiliating others.

• Kindness and compassion: One should strive to be kind and compassionate towards others, even towards those who may have wronged them. This involves acts of charity, helping those in need, and forgiving others.

• Honesty and trustworthiness: Honesty and trustworthiness are essential qualities in building relationships with others. One should avoid lying, cheating, or deceiving others.

• Good manners: Good manners are essential in social interactions. This includes greeting others politely, using appropriate language, and avoiding offensive behavior.

• Respect for privacy: One should respect the privacy of others and avoid intruding on their personal affairs.

• Avoiding gossip and slander: Spreading rumors or gossip about others is harmful and should be avoided.

• Respect for authority: One should respect those in positions of authority, such as parents, teachers, and government officials.

• Justice and fairness: One should strive to treat others fairly and justly, avoiding discrimination or bias.

عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: سَمِعْت رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ: ” بُنِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ: شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَحَجِّ الْبَيْتِ، وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ”. رواه البخاري ومسلم
From Abu Abdul Rahman, Abdullah bin Umar Radhiallahu 'anhuma, said: I have heard the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam say: 'Islam is founded on five (things) - Witnessing that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger, establishing prayer, issuing zakat, performing Hajj to Baitullah and fasting in the month of Ramadan.

1. Shahada (Declaration of Faith):

   • This is the most basic pillar of Islam. It involves declaring that there is no god but God (Allah), and Muhammad is His messenger.

2. Salat (Prayer):

   • Muslims are required to perform ritual prayers five times a day, facing the Kaaba in Mecca.

   • These prayers are seen as a way to connect with God and express gratitude.

   • The specific times for prayers are determined based on the position of the sun.

3. Zakat (Charity):

   • Zakat is a mandatory charitable contribution that Muslims must pay if their wealth reaches a certain threshold.

   • It is considered a way to purify one's wealth and help those in need.

   • The amount of zakat is typically calculated as a percentage of one's wealth.

4. Sawm (Fasting):

   • Muslims are required to fast during the month of Ramadan, abstaining from food and drink from dawn until dusk.

   • Fasting is seen as a way to discipline oneself, develop empathy for the less fortunate, and strengthen one's connection with God.

5. Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca):

   • Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca that every Muslim who is physically and financially able is expected to perform at least once in their lifetime.

   • It is a spiritual journey that involves performing various rituals and ceremonies, culminating in the stoning of the devil at Mount Arafat.

• Introducing oneself: Sharing personal information about oneself, such as name, background, interests, and hobbies.

• Asking questions: Showing genuine interest in the other person by asking questions about their life, experiences, and aspirations.

• Listening attentively: Paying close attention to what the other person is saying and responding thoughtfully.

• Respecting boundaries: Being mindful of the other person's comfort level and avoiding any behavior that might make them feel uncomfortable.

• Building trust: Gradually developing a sense of trust and mutual respect through open and honest communication.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَـٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا ١٣٦

O believers! Have faith in Allah, His Messenger, the Book He has revealed to His Messenger, and the Scriptures He revealed before. Indeed, whoever denies Allah, His angels, His Books, His messengers, and the Last Day has clearly gone far astray.(surah an-nisa 4:136)

Here's a brief explanation of each pillar of Iman:

1. Iman in Allah:

   • This involves believing in the existence of one and only God, Allah, and His attributes.

   • It includes believing in His oneness, His power, His knowledge, His wisdom, His mercy, and His justice.

2. Iman in the Angels:

   • This involves believing in the existence of angels, God's messengers and servants.

   • Angels are believed to carry out God's commands and perform various tasks.

3. Iman in the Books of Allah:

   • This involves believing in all of God's revealed books, including the Quran, the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel.

   • The Quran is considered the final and most complete revelation.

Iman in the Messengers of Allah:

• This involves believing in all of God's messengers, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad.

• Muhammad is considered the final and most complete messenger.

  وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًۭا مِّن قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَذُرِّيَّةًۭ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن يَأْتِىَ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ لِكُلِّ أَجَلٍۢ كِتَابٌۭ ٣٨

  We have certainly sent messengers before you ˹O Prophet˺ and blessed them with wives and offspring. It was not for any messenger to bring a sign without Allah’s permission. Every destined matter has a ˹set˺ time.(surah ar-Ra'd 13:38)

Iman in the Day of Judgment:

• This involves believing in the Day of Judgment, when all people will be resurrected and judged for their actions in this life.

• The righteous will be rewarded with Paradise, while the wicked will be punished in Hell.

1. Iman in the Divine Decree:

   • This involves believing in the predestination of all events by God.

   • It includes believing in both good and bad things that happen to a person as part of God's plan.

On this day, several major events will occur, such as the destruction of the universe, the resurrection of the dead, the weighing of deeds (Mizan), and the final judgment leading to either Paradise (Jannah) or Hell (Jahannam). The exact timing of Hari Kiamat is unknown, and only Allah knows when it will happen. However, Islamic teachings mention signs of its approach, divided into minor (Ashraat as-Sughra) and major (Ashraat al-Kubra) signs.

Key aspects of “ The Day of Resurrection “ :

1. Destruction of the Universe

• The world will come to an end as per Allah’s command.

• The sky will split, mountains will be reduced to dust, and the earth will shake violently.

• The angel Israfil will blow the trumpet (Sur), signaling the end of all life.

2. Resurrection and Gathering

• All humans will be resurrected from their graves.

• Everyone will be gathered in a vast open field (Mahsyar) for judgment.

• No one can escape or hide from Allah’s judgment.

3. Judgment and Accountability (Yaumul Hisab & Mizan)

• Each person’s deeds (amal) will be weighed on the scale (Mizan).

• People will receive their record of deeds in either the right hand (for the righteous) or the left hand (for the wicked).

• Deeds will determine a person’s final destination—Paradise or Hell.

4. The Bridge of Sirat

• A narrow and sharp bridge over Hell (Jahannam).

• The righteous will cross safely, while the wicked will fall into Hell.

5. Eternal Destinations: Heaven or Hell

• Jannah (Paradise): A reward for the believers and those who did good deeds.

• Jahannam (Hell): A punishment for those who rejected faith and committed sins.

6. Major Signs of Hari Kiamat

Islam describes several major signs before the final hour:

• The appearance of Dajjal (False Messiah).

• The return of Prophet Isa (Jesus) to defeat Dajjal.

• The emergence of Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog), causing chaos.

• The sun rising from the west instead of the east.

• The coming of Dabbat al-Ard, a beast that will speak to people.

• massive smoke covering the earth.

These aspects highlight the seriousness of The Day of Resurrection in Islamic belief.
