In World War 1 there were two sides of war that consisted Alliances which is a formal agreement or treaty between two or more nations. The Allied Powers France, Great Britain, Russia , United States and other smaller countries. The other side the Central Powers Germany, Austria-Hungary and the ottoman empire all fought in world war 1. There were many fundamental causes to the war such as Militarism which is a belief that a country should maintain a strong military and the other cause Imperialism a policy of extending a country's power and influence through diplomacy. Germany did not win the world war having lost 7 million soldiers being killed missing or taken prisoner.

Germany's Desire In The Outcome Of Treaty Of Versailles

The Treaty of Versailles was received very badly within Germany. The Big Four was composed of Woodrow Wilson of the United States David Lloyd George of Britain George Clemenceau of France and lastly Vittorio of Italy. David and George blamed Germany entirely for the first world war and had been forced to pay compensation and added the War Guilt which forced them to lose land and pay reparations of 6,600 million monthly to the allied powers. If I were representing I would too blame Germany entirely for their actions because they had done so much damage financially and physically to these nations.

Reactions to the Treaty in Germany were very negative. There were protests in the German Reichstag (Parliament) and out on the streets. It is not hard to see why Germans were outraged. Germany lost 10% of its land, all its overseas colonies, 12.5% of its population, 16% of its coal and 48% of its iron industry. There were also the humiliating terms, which made Germany accept blame for the war, limit their armed forces and pay reparations.
