1. When sourcing articles, read the abstract to see if your article is relevant and useful. Then use the find function (ctrl + F) to scan the article for key words and skim around for useful information.
Then send your articles to your teacher.
2. Be careful of articles more than 10 years old. Some information will be out of date. ex. Australia's population has recently reached 18 million (ABS, 1995). (That was a long time ago!!!)
3. When you submit your drafts and final essay, hand in copies of your articles; the cover page and the pages you used with information highlighted or with notes. You will also need to submit your essay to Turnitin, which checks for matching text.
