Fiction: poem

This relates to the theme, because, this poem expressed how someone can change into someone they aren't.
Reading that helped me understand the theme better by showing how someone can regret their change that they made. Something changed the writer, because it stated, "It has changed me" and "It has transformed me". It used the word "it" as in something besides his or her self.
The person who wrote this or who about probably changed for something besides their own good and covered the old them up. Whatever changed him or her, the person no longer likes the change.

Visual: Cartoon In this cartoon, it demonstrated how change could be useful or good in a sense. One of the characters was running around screaming, when instead the other character gave him a better solution to help their situation.
This cartoon helped me understand that change is sometimes a better solution, than a bad one.
The creator of this cartoon got his point across by showing a smarty-pants diminstation with the words used, at least that was how I took the writing. He seemed kind of annoyed with what the other character was doing and that was why he shared the better solution or 'change' to him.

How the Grinch stole christmas -Multi-media The ending in How the Grinch Stole Christmas showed the Grinch that christmas wasn't about the gifts or anything someone buys, but something more on a deeper emotional level, like everyone joining together. This relates to the topic, because it showed a situation and the situation changed the Grinch.Viewing this scene helped me understand how certain situations can change a person, or in this case a Grinch. The Grinch was going to push everyone's presents down the cliff, then he had a change at heart when he heard them singing. Dr.Suess used a dramatic event to show how the Grinch changed his mind and began to be good from then on. He saved the gifts and proceeded to give them back to the town. The presents almost falling off the cliff, but the Grinch saving them was the dramatic technique The Grinch Ending (Original 1966)The Grinch Ending (Original 1966)How the Grinch Stole Christmas! 1966 Original Ending The Grinch Realizes Christmas Doesn't Come From a Store.

situation Change - Non-fiction The article talked about Situation change, which is a psychology study of how and why a situation ends and another one begins. The article related to the topic, because it talked about how situations can affect a person.
I thought the article helped me understand the topic better, by talking about the study of how situation change can have an influence on a person. It went into a deeper thought of why a person would want to change and why people change daily.
The creator of the article used facts to help prove situations can change a person. For example, the article stated, "the types of situation change may tell us something about the people in those changed or changing situations". That sentence said the situation determines or says something about the people going through the situation.

Situation Change: Stability and Change of Situation Variables between and within Persons

Rauthmann et al.

Topic: Situations Can Change A Person

What the topic was meaning to say was that when someone goes through something awful in their life, like certain problems they face, the person can sometimes change the way they act or respond to things. A person sometimes changes to please others or themselves if they don't like something about themselves. When a person changes, they bury something deep down with themselves to sometimes cover up the old them or to hide their true selves. People tend to change, because they sometimes feel like they have to fit in with society. Certain things or situations can cause someone to change, sometimes change can be good.
