My ideal school would make sure that all students feel safe, supported and inspired to learn. It’s vague to just start off with that but a fully funded school has high quality teachers and counselors (which makes the environment safe), it offers mental health services for the students to lean on upon. They also don’t just have these resources, they’re very advertised and high quality (supported), and they also encourage students to look beyond the classroom as a place to learn. This can be both emotionally and socially. Being safe also goes deeper from just being physically safe. It can also be about inclusion, are you being represented in what your lessons display
