What artistic struggles did you learn from?  As you pursue art for pleasure or maybe even as a future career, what subjects or new approaches would you like to try?
I personally feel like overall this semester, I grew a lot as an artists because at the start of the semester I was drawing stick figures as people. I feel like the area I most improved in was adding texture to an image, and I really liked the texture I added in the background of my Neverland project. I had trouble with drawing people this semester. I feel like I made improvements with each portrait. I still think I need to work on depth and how to make something look like it is standing out compared to an object next to it. My favorite things to draw this semester were landscapes, I really loved using different materials to try and make them look as realistic as possible. If I were to continue art I would want to work on more painting instead of just drawing with oil pastels and colored pencils, I only got to use water color once this semester but I really loved it, so I would want to try and explore different kinds of paint more.
