I am King James I and I was the first Puritan King of England; I took over after the death of the great Queen Elizabeth. I was the first king to translate the bible into English hence we called it "The King James Bible". I was honoured to be the king that founded one of the most prominent settlements in the new acquired lands of America. I named it Jamestown.

Charles I (1625-1649)

I am King Charles I, I believed in the divine right of kings; I believe that as King I hold superior power over all and for that reason I attempt to dissolve Parliament. My constant conflicts with Parliament on subjects such as taxation, religion, and governance eventually led to the English Civil War in 1642. In the English Civil War I led my forces known as Royalists, against Oliver Cromwell and the Roundheads, in the end the Royalists and I would be defeated.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

I am Oliver Cromwell, I served as a proud military leader during the English Civil War; a Puritan Army General, I was crowned the Lord Protector, ruler of England due to my successes. I am proud to have brought change to the English government through abolishing the monarchy and establishing the Commonwealth, as well as for being known for ruling England as a military dictator. I had a vision for England, I attempted to name England the dominant European power through multiple conquests of other countries such as Ireland and Scotland; I was also strict on social control aiming for a Puritanical society in England.

Charles II (1658-1686)

I am King Charles II, ruler of England; I was temporarily exiled to France under the reign of Oliver Cromwell however following his death I returned to England and restored the Monarchy. The time period of my rule was known as the era of Restoration, I'm known for the large amounts of good that came whilest I ruled such as my attempts to heal the wounds of the Civil War, introducing freedom of religion through the Declaration of Indulgence , and the flourishing of the arts and sciences. Despite the good under my reign, it was also stained by disasters such as: The Great Fire of London 1966 and a resurgence of the Black Plague.

I am King James II, the Roman Catholic brother of Charles II; during my reign I faced many challenges regarding religiob due to England being majority Protestant. Due to these challenges, the Glorious Revolution of England began; This revolution would lead to the solidification of the Constitutional Monarchy, the foundation for the English Bill of Rights and, my overthrowing. I was overthrown peacefully however due to the vast amount of illegitimate children my brother had I was the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland, and Scotland.

William & Mary (1688-1702)

We are William and Mary joint rulers of England, I am the daughter of King James II however, unlike my father I was raised Protestant. Our reign not only began Constitutional Monarchy, but we also sign into law the English Bill of Rights, limiting the power of the monarchy and giving Parliament power over it. Just a few concepts covered in the article are the following: Freedom of speech in Parliament, Freedom from royal interference with the law, Freedom from cruel and unusual punishment and excessive bail, and last but not least the succession of the throne is to be passed to my sister.
