2. The pandemic is a transition for a world that must embark on a sustainable path to recovery and well-being.
3. In 2019, Amazon joined the founding of The Climate Pledge, a commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040, ten years ahead of the Paris Agreement. As part of this promise, Amazon has made great commitments to achieve this goal.
4. Amazon is the largest funder of these programs and will contribute the following measures:
• Conserve and manage wildlife.
• Generate economic opportunities by creating new sources of income for families.
• Achieve a net reduction in carbon dioxide emissions of up to 18.5 million CO2 in the

Their transportation methods have been changing through technological innovations:

            1. Personalized electric vehicles in the US
            2. Mercedes-Benz electric vans around the world
       
Besides cars, Amazon has other alternative delivery methods:
 
            1. Traditional bikes or electric ones connected  to trailers
            2. On foot using push walkers

There are two other delivery methods that are new and currently being tested, both of these are powered by electricity: 

            1. Amazon scout robot
            2. Prime air drones

- For delivering in log distance, Amazon has invested a lot to find a way of lowering carbon emissions

- For land vehicles, they ordered electric trucks and began testing hydrogen powered trucks

- For air transportation they are investing in sustainable aviation fuels

On the other hand, Amazon's transportation is protected by U.S. antitrust laws. These laws, also called antitrust policies, are statutes developed by the U.S. government to protect businesses from abusive business practices. 

- They ensure that there is fair competition in terms of consumers benefiting from different opinions (companies) in an open market economy.

 - These laws are applied to a wide range of questionable business activities, including but not limited to market allocation, bid rigging, price fixing, and monopolies
