Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

5-Stages 1

Stasis – Harry lives unhappily in a cupboard under the stairs.
Trigger – a mysterious letter arrives, inviting him to Hogwarts.
Conflict – his aunt and uncle prevent him from reading the letter or going to Hogwarts. (person vs. person)
Crisis – they take Harry to an isolated house on a rock in the ocean, but a giant (Hagrid) comes to collect Harry.
Resolution – Harry settles in to life at Hogwarts

5-stages 2

§Stasis – Harry is enjoying his time at Hogwarts.
§Trigger – the Defence against the Dark Arts teacher is acting strangely.
§Conflict – The teacher is trying to bring back the evil wizard, Vodemort (person vs. the supernatural)
§Crisis – Harry must fight the teacher / Voldemort.
§Resolution – Harry prevents Voldemort’s return. Everyone is safe… for now. ��ET�'
