Students will use matching game activity that I created using Linoit in order for them to remember the standard equations of lines.
Substitution: I can do this activity using paper cards instead of using Linoit.

Students will use Desmos to understand how changing letters in the standard forms of lines change the line (graphically). Using Desmos will allow the students to see multiple lines in color, change the lines with ease and zoom in and out on particular lines.
Augmentation: Using Desmos is easier and gives more information than a graphing calculator would.

Students will use an interactive Smart Board lesson in order to apply the knowledge they understand about equations of lines in order to solve word problems. The smart board lesson will allow me to show the students how to do the problems in real time while also allowing them to get the chance to come to board and solve problems.
Augmentation: Smart Board allows me to put questions up, access graphing utensils and allow both my students and I to interact with the lesson in a way that writing notes on a chalk board would not allow.

Google Slides Presentation

Students will come up with their own linear equation and create their own word problem that matches the equation they came up with. In a google slides document they will create their own slide that displays the word problem they created. Using Desmos, they will also graph the linear equation they created and put this graph on their slide. Once all students have completed their slides, they will go through 5 other student slides on the class' google slides presentation and try to guess the linear equation that matches the word problem and graph on the slide. I will then present the Google slides presentation to the entire class to show the word problems that each person was able to come up with and through the solutions of each slide.
Modification: Without google slides students would not be able to see what each other are working on. They also would not be able to go tot each other's slides in order guess what their classmates original equation was. I also would not be able to show the entire class what word problem each student was able to come up with, what solutions various students came up with and go through the solutions of each student's slide

Students will need to use their judgment in order to see if a linear equation matches a graph or if it matches a given word problem. The Kahoot will ask students true or false questions to see whether or not the students can analyze the knowledge they have learned in order to differentiate between a right and a wrong match.
Augmentation: The Kahoot allows me to quickly go through questions and have all of the information I need on the board at once. It allows me to post pictures, show functions, show word problems and observe students progress along the way.

Near Pod

I will create a Near Pod presentation where I will have various linear equations, word problems and graphs. I will incorporate quizzes along the way of the presentation where students will need to say if the equations fit the graph or if the word problem fits the equation. The quiz questions will be free response so students will need to write if the grpahs, equations and word problems are matching or not and they will aslo need to defend their choice. They will need to justify their choice and be able to defend it in front of other students.
Modification: Using a Near Pod presentation I am able to quickly present the questions to my class along side information about the lesson. Also using this format allows me to see what my students are answering to the questions very quickly and to see if students may or may not have a disagreement about an answer choice. Being able to quickly see these disagreements can allow me to create a mathematical debate in my classroom. This will allow students to make a judgment and then defend their choice.
