Caregivers have many different types of stressors especially if they are the sole caregiver of someone. Stress in this situation could be from role overload, social isolation, and financial difficulties. The emotional toll of being a caregiver can cause exhaustion, anger, anxiety, guilt, and grief. In some cases when caregivers are under too much stress they start to mistreat the person they are caring for even if they don't notice and that causes a different issue.
