These Alka Seltzer tablets create fizz in the water and it's a chemical reaction because it acts with the water to create Carbon Dioxide gas. Usually the bubbles mean a chemical reaction unless the bubbles are from boiling which is a physical reaction.

Roasting a marshmallow is an example of creating a new substance because after the marshmallow is in the fire, it starts to burn turning it into a new substance.

These eggs that are being fried on a frying pan are an example of a new substance because by heating the eggs it goes from a liquid inside a shell into something u can pick up and eat. All chemical reactions change into another substance and this is just another example.
