Each small group then did their own activity, we let them play with our phones, snapchat and face filters. They were very happy, and it was a nice and friendly atmosphere. We played this one game where the kids suppose to throw balls at each other, but they started to throw it at us! And when they didn't have balls, they would hit us, but because they are young, it was not pain. I was very impressed! At the same time I was very elated to look at their excitement. 
At night we went to the night market. The things there were super affordable. Me and my friends bought so much goods for our family and friends that we barely have any money left for ourselves! The kids loved us, and vice versa. When I was walking to get water, one of the girls asked me "teacher, are u coming tomorrow?" 
And I was so sad, and told her no :(

I learnt about their culture and how they live. Its shocking to see and know that they actually carry a heavy weight around their necks, arms and legs from such a young age. Although we only got 45 mins or so to sight-see and purchase souvenirs, i definitely enjoyed my time at the long neck tribe. 
We also head down to the White Temple. Although it was cold, the view was breathtaking. i was shocked because i did not realise the golden building was actually the toilet!! it was amazing.
We headed down to the myanmar border where we saw some myanmar culture at the border between thailand and myanmar. I came to a realisation that the world is indeed small.
We went to the opium hall next to learn about the history of opium & how drugs manifest human beings. It is important to keep the society aware of the usage of drugs & that drugs can ruin you.
 We were then brought to the Golden Triangle to see the parting between Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. The view was breathtaking & we also had ice creams that were not sold in Singapore.
Last but not least, we headed down to the night market where we purchased our last few souvenirs for our friends and family. Some of us were privileged enough to spend our money on thai massage whilst others spent their last few bahts on souvenirs.

At the start, there were some uncomfortable things to adjust to, such as the hotel, food and atmosphere. But after 2 days, it's alright, and little things such as waking up early, braving the cold, long bus trips, and having the feel to shit every 10 mins, it all adds up to "Blaze". Memories like this last a lifetime, and I only have pics and videos, even coming back to Thailand as a group after 1/2 years, it won't be the same. Especially since there's no Mr Sam And Mr Yap. My seniors always said blaze is a family not just a camp. But with everything, it's truly a family. I hope to continue serving in Blaze, and train more leaders, and sharing more experiences. To guide the next generation, and to develop myself further.

It was easy to communicate with the children due to our share data love of sports as they were more willing to participate. It wasn't absolutely stunning. Learning about the culture and heritage and being able to visit the temple is a blessing. 

The hall of opium was almost as stunning as the white temple and it thought me the history of opium drug abuse. How just one drug managed to almost destroy the economy and a country.
