The subject Personal Development was very helpful for me because it encouraged self-awareness and reflection on oneself. It helped me understand my strengths, weaknesses, and values, both those inherent in my nature and those that could have been nurtured. It helped me realize that what I feel, what I've learned, and what I was taught — all had to be for a reason. Through activities and discussions led by emotionally intelligent teachers, I was able to understand and identify areas for growth and set goals for improvement. Through personal development, I gained a deeper understanding of myself.

Knowing oneself and mental health and well-being were two of my favorite topics in Personal Development. The first topic was all about acquiring self-awareness and becoming confident and secure in oneself, regardless of insecurities. It taught me that understanding my strengths, weaknesses, values, and emotions is the foundation of personal growth. By knowing myself better, I can make wiser decisions, set meaningful goals, and build healthier relationships with others. The second topic, mental health and well-being, helped me understand the importance of taking care of my mind just as much as my body. It emphasized that mental health plays a vital role in how we think, feel, and act in our daily lives. I learned that it’s okay to not always feel okay, and that acknowledging our emotions is the first step toward healing and growth. Overall, the discussions made me realize the importance of maintaining balance towards managing stress, practicing self-care, and surrounding myself with supportive and positive people.
