Hi Patrick,

I hope you’re doing well! Have you ever made a list of goals for the new year? I’ve never been very good at sticking to resolutions, but this year, I’m determined to do better.

I’ve already made a few plans. First, I’m going to join a gym because I want to get fitter. I think yoga will be more relaxing than running, and it might be the most calming exercise. I’ve ever tried. Have you ever done yoga?

I’d also like to take a cooking class. Italian food is the most delicious cuisine I’ve ever eaten, so I’m going to learn how to make it. If everything goes well, I’ll travel to Italy in the summer, which I’m sure will be the most exciting trip of my life!

On a more serious note, I’ve decided I have to do something for my community this year. I’d like to volunteer at a local charity—it won’t be the easiest thing I’ve ever done, but it will definitely be the most rewarding.

I hope you're doing well. How’s everything going? Here in Arequipa, it’s been pretty quiet, although it’s been a bit cold lately.I wanted to tell you a bit about my plans for this year. First, I’d like to travel to Lima or maybe another city in the south of Peru. I want to explore more cities and enjoy their culture. Have you visited any new cities recently?

Also, this year I want to focus more on my studies. I’m looking for extra courses to learn more about area of interest, such as marketing and design. I’m sure it’ll help me a lot in the future.

Another plan is to get in better shape, since I want to start training more regularly and improve my health. I’m thinking about joining a gym or maybe practicing yoga, as I’ve been told it’s really good for you, I want to dedicate more time to my hobby of reading and writing. I think this year I need to make the most of those relaxing moments.

First of all, I want to finish my thesis. It’s frustrating because I’ve been working on it for six months. Also, I would like to go to Máncora since I’ve never traveled far before. However, I don’t like fish or seafood.

Finally, I’m planning to find a good job, one that doesn’t completely consume me and allows me to learn.
