I chose this piece as it patternated piece and places a focus point on the dish they have in their perspective. This piece sends a message of connection and how cooking brings people together through the dedication that goes through the meal.

I chose this piece as character is what drew me in at first, the bloodness of it all that stood out. It sends a message about how while love can be cherished it can be destructive.

This piece places a focus in the middle of the canvas, a cat in the light surrounded by darkness, which was why I chose it. This message of a cat can be seen as a sign of neglectment as the toys for the cats are destroyed and unable to be played with.

I chose this piece because it immediately caught my attention with its raw emotion and powerful imagery. The figure holding what looks like a heart, covered in blood, surrounded by cultural and emotional symbols, really pulled me in.
