One common use for infrared waves is a remote control. a typical television remote uses infrared energy at a wavelength around 940 nanometers. Another common use for infrared waves is a heat sensitive camera. By using this heat sensitive camera, it allows people so see the heat inside of Animals and people. Yet another common use for infrared waves is a heat lamp. It is similar to the heat sensitive camera, but it keeps food warm or they can help small reptiles and animals to keep warm and also heat and keep and egg warm to help it hatch.
