The specific parts would be each scripture they read, then there was some singing. To be more specific, there was the entrance, greeting, penitential act, glory to god, and the collect. These are the introductory rites. We see this layout during this mass. At least two readings, and one from the gospel. Usually a psalm or canticle is sung (which it was). The readings come from a lectionary, which is taken from the bible. It is portions of a book or chapter called incipits.
