         <description><![CDATA[<p>When a blunt force is delivered over a sharp bone or bone that is poorly padded, creating a jagged-edge cavity</p><p>Apply direct pressure to the wound with clean gauze to stop the bleeding, clean with water and a mild soap, and dressed with a non sticking bandage. If laceration is deep enough sutures may be needed. </p><p>Wearing gloves and making sure to wash your hand and the patients hands minimize the risk of infection.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Direct penetration of tissues can introduce tetanus into the bloodstream, ALL severe puncture wounds should be referred immediately to a physician. </p><p>Objects should NOT be removed, stop the bleeding around the puncture ensure the object doesn't move and go to the doctor. </p><p>If puncture is deep enough sutures could be needed.  </p><p>Aftercare includes washing the wound with soap and water, apply ointment, and bandage up </p><p>Universal protection includes gloves and ensure to wash hands to minimize risk for infections. </p><p><br></p>]]></description>
