I would write about the disparities between the old Batman and the comic's critique of capitalism as compared to the glamorization of industrial greed (iron man) and meaningless story lines (shazam).

Sucess can be achieved without having to reach your limits and burning out. By promoting videos that capture a person sweating or waking up at 5am, I feel the narrative that you have to practically be hurting yourself to achieve a relative greatness is false and therefore making the idea overrated.

I would write about my personal experiences from observing myself and my classmates. I also would speak on the differences between what appeases English majors and what appeases general high school students.

For this essay, I would discuss the often artificial displays of success that social media influencers portray and their hidden motives of simply gaining money from their followers.

The richest of the rich New York City parents send their children to Horace Mann (use evidence from Kozol - Rye students and Author who mentioned parents suing Horace Mann for not letting their child start kindergarten early). They maintain alumni relations with colleges and pour in exorbitant sums of money in hopes that their child will get a free pass into college (Stanford Article evidence - student did not get in despite parents paying for buildings and renovation).

I would write about personal experience and how I aim to do certain things every year and always end up doing 1 out of the 50 things I write down. Additionally, I would talk about the social media trend of glowing up and how influencers talk about glowing up and losing weight in one year, but they have already been working on this, because it is their job.

I would talk about how there are clothing brands like Shein that make a duplicate of every popular branded style and you cannot tell the difference, except on person paid more money than the other.

I would write about how other superhero movies have to have good plot, characters, etc. while Endgame (although having an interesting plotline) had a boost in rating from the fact that it brought every character from the MCU into a single scene.

Evidence:

On record, LeBron is the most dominant player of all time, but people are quick to call him overrated over personal loyalties compared to factual, analytical data–something that is a significant pitfall of any argument that deals with the "rated-ness" of a certain topic.

I would write about how students already spend so much time in school and piling more work on for them at home can lead to burnout and make them more tired instead of helping them get better.

I would write about the insane expectations some colleges have and the amount of money that goes into the process while mentioning how it seems like colleges are just trying to make money off of potential students while not feeling like a place of learning and opportunity.

Designer companies are overrated. Owning designer products for the sake of the name or quality doesn't make up for extremely high costs.

I would write about how owning these products gives you nothing but bragging benefits. Even if some of these products are high quality, it doesnt necessarily mean the price should be so high.

With this thesis I would try to bring in specific people to show how being popular has specifically affected them in a negative way

I would write about the pressure of 8 different classes and maybe doing one's assignment in another, losing the value of the second class.

I would write about specific brands like Gucci, Prada, Chanel and how some groups of people make others feel as if they need to purchase and own items from them to "fit in".

Access to clean drinking water is a basic human right, and putting a price on a necessity is extremely out of touch. While someone takes a sip of so called "artesian" water, there are entire communities of people who still do not have access to clean water, even in developed nations like the United States. The water crisis in Flint, MIchigan for example, highlights the nations systematic failures in ensuring basic human rights. Additionally, I would write about how blind taste tests have shown people cannot tell the difference between brands like Voss and tap water. What really is the point of designer water?

I would use successful people without college degrees to highlight my point. I would also use jobs that don't require college degrees like electricans,plumbers,mechanics that are nessecary for society regardless of having a college degree.

I would write about how economic uncertainty, social barriers, and overall "privilege" make the American Dream an unrealistic goal for many people.

I would talk about how the past MCU had a thorough storyline that lived through all movies, with a main set of characters as opposed to how there are newer characters that are being added to show 'new' superpowers.

I would write about sonder and how our lives would be less stressful if people were not so worried about other people's feelings of them all the time.

I would write about how political party leaders, in many countries not just America, are often in a position where the entire nation is holding them accountable for something that occurred because of the entire government. Whether they are successes or failures, one person is placed on a pedestal of responsibility which isn't fair to them. For example, Hoover being blamed for Great Depression.

I would write about how sometimes there are perceptions being displayed on social media that may be far from reality, guiding someone in the wrong direction, such as reviews.

I would give examples of different trends that have pushed students out of their comfort zone or that have led to kids getting in trouble, along with possible interviews or articles from the teens themselves or research on the subject to get more accurate evidence.

I would write about the fact on how many people would only go to visit certain landmarks, while other minor landmarks in the same city aren't as known despite having a lot of significance.

I would try to write about how trends are so integrated into today's society, it's understandable that it's because it's trending on social media. Some designers of these pieces make these pieces due to their creativity to create such unique pieces, but it will some to trend only for while. Once the hype dies down, another pice of clothing or a shoe brand will start trending. It could also be food, such a Dubai Chocolate, due to it's trending status, these products also increase in price.
