Failing can help you improve- Gloria Mattson

I learned that failing can actually help you improve more. Many famous actors, singers, and directors have failed many times in their life but it has got them where they are today. This involves your mental health, one must always keep a positive mindset. By keeping a positive mindset it will help you realize that failure is just a great way to improve your skills. This benefited me by showing that I can not get so down if I get a bad grade on an assignment. I just need to remember that its a great opportunity to learn from my mistakes.

Abusive relationships are a very real problem- Chasey Wedge

I learned that often times people that are in abusive relationships are very good at hiding it. There's often times another story behind the cute Instagram posts and going everywhere together. The abuser in the relationship will force their partner to post those pictures to make it seem like they are the 'perfect couple'. Or, the abuser will follow their partner everywhere to make sure they don't hang out with anyone else. Abusive relationships greatly impact the overall health of those in the relationship. The person being abused gets used to making excuses for their partner's actions and they start to think that what's going wrong is their fault. Thinking like this can take a huge toll on a person's mental health. By reading this article I now know more signs of a potentially abusive relationship. If I see these signs I can try and help the person to get out of their unhealthy relationship.

I learned that allergies not only cause severe reactions to certain foods, but they also cause self-conscious settings. When I read my article about Katherine one of the main struggles was fitting in. This is health related because it not only effects you physically, but also mentally too. Overall the article has opened up my mind about different aspects of food allergies. I remember when there was an allergy table at our school and every kid that had allergies had to sit there; basically signaling them out. Which may make the kid feel self- conscious about him/herself.

I learned that puberty starts when your pituitary gland sends signals to the rest of your body saying its time to grow. During puberty your bones are growing faster than your muscles and ligaments. I learned that if you wash your face too much it can dry out your skin causing it to become even more oily. This was beneficial to me because it explained all the unanswered questions about going through puberty. I also learned that during puberty your feet get bigger, boys gain weight quicker, girls hips widen and boys adam apples appear. during puberty your body needs calcium and protein. Its also normal to be clumsy during puberty because different parts of your body grow at different rates. you also sweat more because your new hormones cause your body's sweat glands to become more active.

This article is about how famous celebrities failed in their lives but then learned from their failure to push themselves to get better. I learned that if something always doesn't turn out the way I want to, such as making JV instead of varsity like Michael Jordan, you work your butt off to prove to everyone that you are on the wrong team. Gaining a good work ethic not only can help you with things you fail it, but it can also help you get even better at what you are already good at. If something doesn't go the way i want, I will work to succeed that goal, once I reach it I will still not stop grinding.

I learned that some lawmakers want the minimum wage for teens to be lower. if they do this then business will want to hire more teens. they want this because 945,000 teens were unemployed in 2016. that is alot of teens. they are arguing that teens need jobs to prepare them for the future ahead of them. now many teens are graduating and trying to get a job but they dont have any experience. but others are saying that you can discriminate someone because of their age. just because someone is older doesnt mean that they shouldn't get the job. this benefited me because it turned my beliefs to the side of making that a law because teens need experience

I've known that failing is a key part of success and you hear that famous athletes have failed many times in their career. But hearing how many times the greatest basketball player in history michael jordan failed so many times in clutch moments where it was win or lose was pretty interesting. Also the other people on the list failing at things that they are famous for was kinda funny, but i guess failing isn't is bad as it seems as long as you learn from it.

Should Teens Earn Less? Wyatt Boberg

I learned that more people from the ages of 16-19 are unemployed the other parts of society. I also learned that minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. Another thing I learned was how some people think that teens should be payed less because it seems more appealing to hiring companies. The article also showed me how others think that people should be payed equally for the amount of work they do. The last thing I learned was that the amount of jobs and jobs held are declining, but college prices are increasing. This article relates to health because it shows how entry jobs help prepare us for our future and life ahead. This article has benefited me because it showed me that it's a good time to start getting a job. It also showed me that college is expensive and so is life this means that teens really do need the extra money.

In this article I learned that many famous people around the world failed time and time again. These people kept getting up and kept grinding so that they could reach there goal. This teaches people to never get down after mistakes but to bounce back and turn the mistakes into success. This happens by taking hat happened and learning from it. This article relates to health because because in order to succeed fro your mistakes, you must first be okay with making them and not getting down on yourself. In other words, you need solid mental health. This article has benefited me by teaching me that I am allowed to make mistakes but it is important for me to learn from them and not get down on myself about them. I know now that I can become a better student and a better athlete because I will for sure learn from all of my mistakes
