ORSINO
O, when mine eyes did see Olivia first,
Methought she purged the air of pestilence.

That instant was I turned into a hart,
And my desires, like fell and cruel hounds,
E'er since pursue me. (1.1.20-24)

Orsino delivers in the play. When a servant invites the Duke to go hunting, Orsino responds with a speech about the way he felt when he first saw Olivia. Just like that, that's sort of what this ruler did. Shah Jahan was the fifth ruler of the Mughal dynasty. During his third regnal year, his favorite wife, known as Mumtaz Mahal, died due to complications arising from the birth of their fourteenth child. Deeply saddened, the emperor started planning the construction of a suitable, permanent resting place for his beloved wife almost immediately. The result of his efforts and resources was the creation of what was called the Luminous Tomb in contemporary Mughal texts and is what the world knows today as the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal, a wonder of the world and world heritagesite, is a magnificent specimen of Mughal architecture. Most people know the Taj Mahal, a mausoleum in Agra, India, as a monument of love symbolizing the eternal love of a Mughal emperor Shah Jahan towards his wife Mumtaz.

FABIAN
Maria writ
The letter at Sir Toby's great importance,
In recompense whereof he hath married her. (5.1.385-387)

The announcement seems to come out of nowhere, but if we think about it, it makes sense. Toby and Maria constantly engage in a loving way and Toby more than once tells us that he thinks Maria's wit and shrewdness are attractive, and with this quote just like people admire the romance and love of the dove that's how it relates to this making Maria the dove. The dove was singled out to represent romance because Greek mythology associated the small, white bird with Aphrodite, the goddess of love (known in Roman mythology as Venus). Aphrodite/Venus is often depicted with doves fluttering around her or resting on her hand.

Love Knot

ORSINO
Cesario, come,
For so you shall be while you are a man.
But when in other habits you are seen,
Orsino's mistress, and his fancy's queen. (5.1.408-411)

It's pretty surprising that Duke Orsino calls Viola "Cesario," even after they are engaged and Viola's identity is revealed. Just like the love knot having any end or limit to love that's what shown in this passage as well. Clearly, the Duke is not quite used to the idea that his "boy" is actually a girl. This passage also raises the question of whether or not Orsino is attracted to "Cesario" or "Viola" or both. The love not is a well-known Celtic tradition. It represents eternal love because it has no beginning or end. It was also used in ancient Muslim culture when young women would send secret message, hidden in knots of cloths to their beloved. As you have seen we have deliberately not mentioned the heart as a symbol of love. It’s because it’s very well-known. It is worth mentioning the heart dates back to the time of the Bible. The heart has long been used as a symbol to refer to the spiritual, emotional, moral, and in the past, also intellectual core of a human being.

ORSINO
If music be the food of love, play on.
Give me excess of it, that, surfeiting,
The appetite may sicken and so die. (1.1.1-3)

When Orsino speaks of feeding his "love" for Olivia with music in the play's famous opening lines, the Dukes shows desire with a kind of strong craving for food. Desire isn't something to be fulfilled or satiated in a healthy, loving way. Rather, the Duke says he must kill off his "appetite" for love by bingeing and "sickening. This not only shows us to Orsino's disturbing ideas about love, but also shows us how erotic desire is linked to violence and self-indulgence in Twelfth Night. In classical mythology, Cupid (Latin Cupido, meaning "desire") is the god of desire, erotic love, attraction and affection. He is often portrayed as the son of the lovegoddess Venus and the war god Mars, and is known in Latin also as Amor ("Love"). His Greek counterpart is Eros.
