The American revolution was impactful to US History since without the bravery of the colonists, we may not have the freedom from European rule that we have today. The colonists took a huge risk by fighting for their independence, showing the rest of the world the America deserved to be granted freedom of Independence. The colonists courage also inspired other countries to fight for their Independence as well. Thus, the American Revolution was the second most impactful event to US history.

The Nazi invasion of Poland sparked World War II. After a long period of appeasement, the Allied powers could no longer ignore Germany's and the Axis powers' wrongdoings. The United States remained neutral for as long as possible until Japan attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. This gruesome war claimed many lives, but in the end, the Allied powers triumphed, dividing Germany and dropping atomic bombs on Japan to assert their dominance over these Axis powers. With the end of WWII, there was a greater emphasis on containing communism in the East and capitalism in the West.

WWII was impactful to US history as it united America against the wrongdoings happening in Europe and the Asian Pacific islands. Americans supported the war by buying war bonds, rationing their food, and planting victory gardens. In addition to the Home fronts effort, WWII also helped the United States become a superpower since supporting countries devastated by the war increased the number of markets America could export goods to. It was also negatively impactful and sparked the Cold War since the difference between communism in the East and capitalism in the West created tension. Thus, WWII was the third most impactful event in US history.

Following Westernization, new technologies, new infrastructure, and urbanization led to industrialization. Cities like Detroit, Chicago, and Pittsburgh grew rapidly as manufacturing and transportation hubs. The factories in these large cities provided jobs, but the workers were forced to live in harsh conditions. The railroad, steel, finance, and oil industries all expanded, creating more jobs. As America grew as an industrial powerhouse, it attracted immigrants seeking new opportunities.

Industrialization was important to US history as it led to the growth of cities, the expansion of transportation networks, the creation of new jobs, and the technological advances that improved living conditions drastically. Above all this, it sparked immigration to the USA as other countries began to see the country improve the lives of many with the various opportunities available. Immigration benefited the USA as more people entered the workforce, and the productivity of the USA increased, raising the GDP. Thus, industrialization overall made the United States a major superpower and kickstarted the success of the nation that we still see today, making it first place as most impactful.

The world industrializing wins the Grand champion of events since it had the biggest impact on the world as a whole, directly affecting the United States more than WWII and the American Revolution. Without industrialization, the United States would not have been able to use lifesaving medicine and techniques during the war, helping to save the lives of many Americans. Aside from saving the lives of many Americans, it also expanded US cities which led to an increase in immigration. Increased immigration has a major role in US history since immigrants have helped contribute to the economy in drastic ways by taking advantage of the opportunities here. The Industrial Revolution stands out as the most impactful event in the United States, as it not only helped save the lives of soldiers who fought for our country but also created new opportunities for immigrants to contribute to the country's growth and personal development.

She was forcefully removed from a train after refusing to give up her seat. She spoke out against not only this injustice but also started an anti-lynching campaign. Wells won the court case against the railroad company after suing for discrimination. Other than being a civil rights activist, she also supported women's suffrage and became a founder of the National Association of Colored Women’s Club along with the NAACP.

Ida B. Wells was impactful to US history as her work helped to bring attention to injustices faced by Africa Americans and laid the groundwork for the civil rights movement. Without Ida B. Wells' commitment, the Civil Rights Movement may not have had the same positive impact on the lives of Black Americans. Her devotion to trying to eliminate injustice inspires activists today. Thus, Ida B. Wells' legacy still lives on today as people use her legacy as the framework to help rule out the injustice that still happens in the world.

MLK had a major impact on US history because he forever altered the course of African Americans' lives. His nonviolent approach to achieving justice demonstrated that violence is not always the answer. Without MLK, significant legislation such as the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 would never have been passed, and America would have continued to tolerate segregation. As a result, his work inspires Americans today to remain peaceful while persevering for the change they desire. MLK played a critical role in improving the lives of African Americans and demonstrating that everyone deserves equal treatment, making him one of the most influential leaders in US history.
