The cover up continued until Ron Ridenhour a soldier in the 11th brigade had heard reports but was not involved began a campaign to bring the events to light </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The 11th brigade is a inactive infantry brigade of the united states army. It is best known for its service with the 23rd infantry division from 1967-1971 in the vietnam war. After advanced training at schofield barracks in Hawaii a group of soldiers named the charlie company departs for vietnam's Quang Ngai province (My Lai)where they initiated the massacre. company and the 11th brigade is part of five platoons (three rifle and one weapons and one headquarters). </div>]]></description>
