Every day, I wake up at 6:00 a.m. Even though it’s early, I try to start my day with a positive attitude. First, I brush my teeth and take a shower. Then, I get dressed and have breakfast with my family. I usually eat eggs, bread, and drink coffee. However, that’s not always enough to fill me up. Fortunately, at university, my friends sometimes treat me to something more, like a combinado or some broasted chicken. I really enjoy those moments—we laugh a lot and have a great time together.

After breakfast, I head to university around 7:00 a.m. I usually take a taxi, but sometimes my friends pick me up. I arrive by 7:30 a.m. and have classes until 12:00 p.m. My favorite subjects are English and math because I find them both interesting and useful. After class, I either walk back home or get a ride, depending on the day.

In the afternoon, I usually have lunch at home and then rest for a while. Sometimes, I go out to play soccer with my university friends, which helps me relax and disconnect from academic stress. Other times, I focus on doing homework or studying for an upcoming exam. I also help my mom with house chores or assist my younger brother with his homework. It feels good to contribute at home.

During the evening, I like to watch TV or scroll through my phone to catch up on social media. I have dinner with my family around 7:30 p.m., and we often talk about how our day went. Finally, I go to bed around 9:00 p.m., although sometimes it’s a little later if I have a lot on my mind.

Although my days are busy, I really like my routine because it helps me stay organized, productive, and close to the people I care about.
