When the audience here "to give a voice," "to add a rung," and "to make real," the changes that Senator Kennedy pushed for stand out as his legacy.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In paragraphs 1-4 Obama described Kennedy's early life, and the hardships that came with it. There is a shift in tone towards paragraph 6 and 7 where Obama uses those hardships to describe Kennedy's motivates. President Obama added Kennedy's accomplishments to his explanation with dashes, semicolons and conjunctions. This allowed audience members to understand how Kennedy's personal life affected his career. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Here Obama is demonstrating how Ted Kennedy lost a lot of people close to him as well as things he had to sacrifice to achieve the things he wanted. By adding semicolons, there is a bigger importance on this sentence, because it makes the reader pause more and pay more attention to what it's saying. Kennedy suffered a lot in his journey, but he didn't allow all of that suffering to bring him down, and so he thrived in the end.</div>]]></description>

Obama continues to start with the phrase "the.." when stating the different people that Kennedy has made an impact on; therefore, Obama was really able to emphasize that Kennedy made an impact on many peoples life who were in difficult situations. Also, this repetition that occurs really stands out as it emphasizes the true impact Kennedy had. </div>]]></description>
