If they don't make it it was just a waste of time and their money. Athletes are known to spend 37-40 hours a week doing that sport, this study has been as recent as October 2021. The facts about these athletes are everywhere, even big name reporters, and news channels speak on this topic, ESPN, and CNBC. My research shows that these college athletes need to make some well earned cash because they cant afford to pay for college and a dorm and all of those things while they are spending dozens of hours on something that might not even be long term. They are basically gambling with their careers if they don't make it pro they will go home losing thousands of dollars not making a penny. This needs to be fixed because people can't afford to go to these schools and play sports. It is impossible to play a sport and work and somehow make enough money to pay the rent on we're your living and food and accessories.
