During the Orientation I felt welcomed and motivated by the CC and my etutor. Particularly it was the first time in my open campus experience that I seen a CC so enthusiastic and cheerful in engaging her students. The positive energy was passed on to me and help changed my perception of this course. I now have the encouragement to do my very best and to be successful at the end of the journey.

I attempted to participate in all the orientation activities and try to keep ahead of time. I took a VARK test which was not my first as I had done it in a previous course and it had reminded of my learning style as being ‘Multimodal’. I set up my padlet account which was a great experience. The lounge created a relaxing vibe and a friendly atmosphere for students to meet and greet each and share their birthdays.

I hope the great spirit would continue throughout the semester to keep us motivated.
