However, when I use the word "confront" I never think of it with a negative connotation, but rather with a positive one. That is, each person who has decided or decides to become a teacher must evaluate the reason why he/she has chosen to take that path, what has led you to become an educator and not a doctor, for example. Even more to the point, I do not think that the question of why do you decide to teach is something you ask once in your life. Deciding and choosing every day to teach is something that relatively and gradually changes over time and as you gain experience.

For instance, personally speaking, I knew I wanted to become a teacher at an early age. Since I was a child, I always enjoyed explaining someone else an idea, to provide some sort of explanations. As I became older, I started acknowledging that it came easy to me to sit down next to a friend or a classmate and try to present the way I understood a concept. Therefore, by that time, teaching for me was presented in the idea of helping others understand. 

Everything clicked once I connected my need for helping others to my passion for the English language. That was when I decided to study English at the National University of La Pampa. A journey that begun in 2017 and still continues. In addition, my experience at the University is not only connected with learning the language itself, but also to make teaching it a more enriching practice. Throughout all of these years, I have visited many schools, both primary and secondary institutions, and I have practised my own personal way of communicating a foreign language to my students. Each year has been remotely different, and each teaching experience has gradually changed my own perspective as a future teacher of English. 

In order to conclude, I believe that for me, teaching is related to establish a connection. I have to connect my need for helping others with the language, connect myself at a personal and professional level with my students, connect my ideas and projections with the particular context I have to teach, among many others. I want to teach because of all these reasons, because it is almost impossible to choose only one, and because all of them are intertwined together at the same time. I want to teach because throughout all the years I have known I want to become a teacher I have grown both personally and professionally, taking each experience to this point. Of course that if you have chosen to become a teacher, you probably enjoy doing it. For instance, as I have mentioned before in one of my videos, what I like most about teaching is creating a bond with my students. I like to think of my classroom as a place where each of them would feel comfortable and seen. It is important for me to achieve an environment where they all feel equals and where they have the space to learn freely. It is not a process that occurs that easily, however, but I do enjoy the process of getting to know each of them and vice versa. Nevertheless, I also believe that me as a teacher have to mention the dislikes of that process. For instance, the very first time I enter a classroom, I feel like I am going to faint. Good impressions are always influential, and the first day you meet your students is significant for the teacher as well as for the students. There are of course rough days when nothing goes as planned. It is necessary to bear in mind both things, the moments we enjoy the most and the difficult parts of everyday class. It is not because I do not enjoy teaching at secondary schools. Fortunately, I have taught in both institutions, but I have found myself enjoying more the Primary school experience. I do not disregard in a near future teaching to teenagers since it is a whole different and challenging experience, but... I would definitely like to be a primary school teacher some day! 

I also have plans of travelling abroad! I have always dreamt of living in the United States, Ireland, Italy or England some day. - My early approach to the schools: since I started my course of studies in the year 2017 I have attended to different schools. I did my practices in the secondary school "Normal" in Santa Rosa, school n° 246, school "Polivalente", and school n° 227 in Eduardo Castex. During these practices I went to observe different teachers, I was given the chance to deliver classes, to provide "support" lessons and to do my residency at a primary school. 

- I have also worked on my own here in my town. Since 2018 I have helped different people who needed help with the language whether it was to increase their use of English or to pass the subject at school. 

- And finally, last year I started teaching at the secondary school "Licenciado Hugo Peinetti" in Eduardo Castex. This was actually my very first time in front of a whole class all on my own.
