In this week's parsha Moshe is born, but before this all happened, there was a stargazer that was looking at the stars . He saw that there will be a child that will lead the Jews out of Mitzrayim. Therefore, the baby boys were thrown in the Nile.

Question: Why does it say not specify that it is a Jewish baby rather all babies were thrown in the river?

Answer: Because from the stars they didn't know that a JEWISH baby boy will be born it said a baby will be born not a jewish baby.

Lesson: Always make sure that your know what your doing before doing it.

Thank you so much for reading this today.

In this weeks Parsha, we learn that Moshe grew up and his mother gave him back to the daughter of Pharaoh, then the Torah says he grew up again. Rashi's question is, why does the torah say He grew up twice? Rashi answers the first time the Torah says he grew up, it is referring to his height and growth, the second time it mentions it, it refers to royalty, how he got appointed by Pharaoh and grew up in royalty. Ironically the savior of the Jews was growing up in the enemies house. In life Hashem's always has plans for us, even if we don't see it right away.

Why did Hashem count us again if he did already a lot of times? It is because he loves us a lot! Like if you had a collection of some thing, you would want to always count your collection again and again because you love it so much.

When Batya found Moshe she needed someone to nurse him and so she asked people. Miriam asked if she can help find someone to nurse Moshe. How did Miram know to ask Batya? Miriam was watching Moshe closely. When Batya took him she wanted to know where Batya was going. Why didn't Moshe drink milk from the non Jews? He wouldn't drink milk from non Jews because in the future he would talk to Hashem.
The lesson is you should never be afraid to ask if someone needs help even if they are very important. In the future you never know if you'll be used for something special.

In this week's Parsha, Pharaoh tells Shifra and Puah to kill all the baby boys. Shifra and Puah wouldn't listen. Pharaoh was so upset. The Seforno says that pharaoh told them that they betrayed him. The Seforno also says that Pharaoh trusted them, that's why he was so upset. The seforno doesn't say that Pharaoh was upset because the baby boys weren't killed. Rather, he focused on himself.

We learn from this that people are naturally selfish.
