I think America is a place where you can truly be yourself and have the freedom to express you are in different ways. Whether you express yourself through art, your job, charity, or writing books, you are able to choose your path on how you want to do just that. You get that sense of freedom that in many countries you really don't get to experience. While we Americans have our own issues in our country and we can easily take advantage of our privilege as well, we also know just how lucky we are as Americans to be where we are.

The first thing I love about America is being able to choose my own career path. I love the fact that at 16 years old I'm able to plan on what I want to do for my big career, to do what I want with my life and that my career isn't chose for me. I love that if i wanted to change my career path at 28 I could, I love the diversity of careers in America. There's so much to do within this country that it actually makes it hard to figure out what you truly would want to do for the rest of your life.

The second the thing I love about America is our education system. It allows for the first thing I love about America to happen. We have one of the top education systems in the world and while it has it's own problems with the pay of our teachers it's an amazing system. You're able to learn anything you want to learn in our universities. You get great education through your K-12 years in America and the fact that when you graduate high school and your able to get scholarships so college is cheaper or in some cases free for you to go to to pursue your career is just outstanding.

I love how when things can get really hard in America or a great travesty can happen, everyone in America can put their differences aside and stop arguing to really rally behind our country. The people will stand for this country and it's beautiful. For example when 9/11 happened everyone put all their differences aside and rallied behind this country. We proved our strength when times were toughest. We supported those who lost because we are all one big family here in America, no matter what type of person you are.

Two words. Racial Inequality. I wish we could figure out our racial inequality. As it stands right now through my eyes, as a white male or female in America you have a clear advantage over those of different race. It's unfair and it goes against what this country is suppose to stand for, equal opportunity for all, no matter their situation. I think it's important we figure this out soon. This has been a problem since America was even declared a country. While there has been changes made it hasn't been enough. It only has gotten worse lately and if your an American that should scare, especially with our current president

I wish our justice system was better. There has been many times when people have either been wrongly accused and sent to jail for years before we figure out they weren't the real suspect or where the right person wasn't sentenced to jail because they had enough money to pay for an amazing lawyer to get them off scott free or reduce their sentence big time. Our justice doesn't make sense in the slightest. There are some good things about it, i like how we have everyone is innocent till proven guilty but there's been too many cases where they can't use direct evidence because of one of the many loopholes within the system. If we can better that it’s a step to a better America.

I wish our acceptability of being different was better. I feel like most people in America have tunnel vision and believe what that wanna believe. They don't accept other people beliefs or qualities. They're have been protest that down peoples beliefs or ways of living their lives. It seems to be when someones doing something you don't like in America they want accept you because it's not what they believe you should do. I wish people would have more of an open mind.

I easily think the most important thing that symbolizes America is our national anthem. That song really expresses what America is about. After the fight for or freedom we were able to perish through the hardest times and gain freedom for our people. While we are a country that has it's own problems we are all proud as Americans to stand for our national anthem. It describes what that feeling really felt like and what were we truly gaining from winning the war and it still stands today.

The American flag is the second thing that symbolizes America. The flag shows 50 stars for all 50 states in America. I think each star not only represents 50 states but the freedom of the states. The ability to be it's own state with it's own laws while also being apart of America is important. The flag really represents everything America is about. People are proud to stand to the flag or wear it on their shoulder if they fight for our country. The people of America all can agree that it's the flag that brings us together. It represents everything we believe and support.

I think the third thing that symbolizes America is the diversity of races and culture in the country. While at the moment it may not be the most equal thing at the moment it is definitely the one most symbolical things of America. When you come to America you can step into any big city or any mall in all 50 states and just see the diversity of people. It is definitely a beautiful sight to see. I think once we as Americans become more accepting of this diversity it'll better this country but even through that the diversity is still a great symbol.

Freedom of Speech is the very first thing that comes to mind when asked this question. The right to our first amendment will be something that will never change in America and if it were to we'd be in constant turmoil. The freedom of speech allows Americans to do what we stay fighting for and that's the right to speak our minds. To be able to express our own ideas in our own ways. It allowed for people like MLK to really have his, I Have A Dream, speech. It's what allows for fighting of equal rights whether that's gender or race. Freedom of speech will always be important to Americans and is by far the most important.

The freedom of religion is a big idea in America that is very important. This allows for the diversity I was talking about earlier to really happen. This doesn't force Americans into something they don't wanna be in. To be able to have free religion is huge. It's what people believe in or put their faith into. It's what some people devote their lives to and believe it's their destiny to spread their beliefs. Free religion is definitely a very important idea.

The American Dream is simply put as wanting to succeed or accomplish the goals you really have set for yourself. If you want to be a guy who sits in house all day in America, you can do that. If you want to be a successful businessman in America you can go out and do that. The American Dream is really just about making it. Fighting through the hardships, never giving up, and accomplishing exactly what you wanted to accomplish in your life. That's the American Dream.
