The Mayans had one main form of entertainment, a game like basketball; except way more sophisticated. It involved a 90m alley, a rubber ball and wooden protection. The aim of the game was to get the ball into the stone hoop by only hitting the ball with your elbows, thighs and hips. Losing the game was a deadly mistake; as the losers get ritually executed. The game was commonly played to settle disputes against rival tribes.
