What should Ceyo do now? This is our topic. I brainstormed with my students using the talking circle technique. I thought that my students would focus better visually, so I used pictures. My students had different ideas from each other.

The whole class sat in a circle and through the talking circle technique we found solutions, we told our ideas about what Ceyo will do now!! Through the brainstorming, the kids said great things!!!

The Talking Ring and the Story of "The 3 Little Wolves" (and the Pig)

After we had a discussion in our circle with the children expressing their opinions about Ceyo's feelings and actions due to the social bullying, we reminded ourselves of a greek story called "The 3 Little Wolves" (and the Pig). This is an adverse version of the traditional well-known story of the "Wolf and the 3 Pigs", where the little wolves are the good characters and the pig is the spoiler one. The 3 Pigs are brothers and therefore, friends and they don't want the Pig to be around them. So each time they built an even tougher house where they get in, but this is something that makes the Pig even more angry. It is only, when they build a house from flowers, which means they lower they defence and start showing more approval, that the Pig starts changing and becoming a calmer and happy character. At the end of the story the 3 little Wolves and the Pig become friends, they play together, offer their food to the others, share the same home, and enjoy the one the other as all friends do. This story supported our thought to find analogies with the Ceyo's story (see photo above where we used the characters of the Friends'Forest while narrating the story of our book).
