(offending someone) Offending someone is not an example of a serious crime!&nbsp;</div><div>he got into serious crime after he ran over a child and escaped.&nbsp;</div><div>Community service : voluntary work intended to help people in a particular area. (Ok, how is this related to crime?)<br>Because when you attempt to do a minor crime the junde will punish you with community service.</div><div>he was sentenced 2 months to community service.&nbsp;</div><div>punish an offender : punishing someone who <strong>offends</strong> someone. offender is someone who offends someone. (What does 'offend' mean here?)&nbsp;it mean to harras people verbaly or physical.</div><div>They punished an offender for offending the lady.&nbsp;</div><div>plead guilty/ innocent : to show someone that you're innocent.&nbsp;</div><div>he pleaded guilty to the judge.&nbsp;</div><div>motive for crime : to have a strong reason to do something wrong.&nbsp;</div><div>he has a motive for crime and wants to steal everything.&nbsp;</div><div>vandalism : destroying other people's property by breaking and burning things.&nbsp;</div><div>he was charged with vandalism after he burned his neighbors house.</div>]]></description>
