         <description><![CDATA[<div>Dick grew up in Kansas and was the son to Walter and Eunice Hickock. His parents were well respected and provided him with love and comfort. As a child growing up, he was an outstanding athlete. He played football, baseball, and basketball. Overall, he was a good student and was able to graduate high school. He desired to go to college to become an engineer his family couldn't afford it. He got his first job working for Santa Fe Railways and made $75.00 a week. At the age of 19, he got married and late had three sons. Him and his wife, Carol, started to live a lavish life that they couldn't afford and they were forced into debt.  He also got in a car crash, hit his head, wasn't the same ever since. He began writing bad checks, gambling, and ended breaking up with Carol for a new wife. He<br>went to prison for seventeen  months for stealing a rifle and second wife left him. (Page 103)</div>]]></description>
