It was so cold there! When I got there on Wednesday, it was 7 degrees. On Thursday, it got crazier and became 2 degrees. One of my close friends got altitude sickness and had to go to the ER. She feels much better now. It was my first time snowboarding and I fell many many times. I had hot pot in Denver, Colorado on the last day before I headed to the airport. I will definitely be going back in the future! It was a fun experience. I have been to many Karate tournaments in the past, but they were all on Zoom. Now, it's finally in-person! I was competing against everybody in California. I don't know how some people from Sacramento drove here. I am a Red 1 belt, which is 2 belts away from Black belt, and I competed against 38 different Red 1 belts, including some of my teammates. In the end, I placed second, while my other teammate (He goes to the same school I do. I don't know half of the people I competed against) placed first. There were only 4 places. I brought home a trophy and a certificate. It was a fun experience! 

I also did my piano test. It was hard. I had to record for Classical (the hardest), Contemporary, and Contemporary. I have two Contemporaries for no reason, but okay. I took my theory test (the best thing I have in piano), I was confident I got a 100%. That means I'd get an honor (If I didn't fail the sight reading). I recorded for hours and hours on end, especially the classical one. It was Mozart: Fantasia K. 397. I thought it was pretty good, then we sent it to the teacher. She thought it wasn't good enough, so I was like "bruh." So I recorded again, and it was better? I guess? So the teacher was like ok nice time to upload. I don't know if I was going to be Level 5, or testing for Level 6. I think it's testing for Level 6, says my mom. Then, we had the worst, sight reading. Sight reading was hard. Hard. Hard. Hard. Hard. Hard. Hard. I failed a chord, so I guess I failed the entire thing. I did practices on the book and the website, but and I finished the entire book of sight readings. Maybe that was too much. It was a lot of fun. After we drove up to Badger Pass, it was snowing hard. I really like snow. The snow was fluffy, and when we got our skis and went cross-country skiing I just had to slip and fall. Getting up with skis is NOT fun. The skis were very long. I was really happy I did not choose the longer skis. We hiked up the snow-capped hills and then went down. It was really fun. Then we went on a trail. By this time, it was snowing so hard that when we started going fast, my face hurt from the snow hitting my face. Also, the snow branches were covered with layers of snow. We turned around and started to race down. In the end, I was second and I was happy. I really want to go there again.

A lot of people could be heard saying "Putin has launched nuclear bombs" or "Russia is invading the capitol of ukraine". I didn't like the thought of so many bombs and tried to ignore it. Also I went hiking with Aaditri. It was warm and cold at the same time and we even went to her house after we completed the trail. I ate lunch at her house and the food was good. A few days after she came to my house to play. We both played a few rounds of chess, one of my favorite games, and we also played Among-Us on my ipad, which is one of her favorite games. Playing with Aaditri was fun and worth it. While I played, I was listening to breaking news on Youtube. Every video in the breaking news section was called "Putin puts nuclear forces on high alert, escalating tensions". It was sad seeing all those people in subway stations turned into bomb shelters. I had my piano test thingy to see if I was good enough to be level 5. I prepared for the whole month and I first had to record my 3 songs on time periods, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic. The first time I recorded the songs, it took forever and then my mom said it didn't work because of the angle the I-pad was at when recording. I almost exploded but I had to do it again. So I some how ez clapped the second time. Then I had my music theory test, it wasn't easy in the beginning but I felt confident that I got more than 2/3 of the problems right to pass. Last was the hardest, sight reading. My mom was, let's just say really bad at sight reading, so I wasn't confident at all. But after I did a practice almost flawlessly, my confidence was boosted. But, on the real test, I kind of did insanely bad, I don't know if I can even pass now. I hope I can because it was so annoying doing this whole thing. But something even worse happened. My friend Albert did a promise that he wouldn't take free stuff in a game called Hypixel Skyblock in Minecraft (hypixel.net only for java players) over 5 million worth of in game coins, but on Sunday he took 50 million coins worth of free stuff. Well you could probably guess I wasn't very happy about that. In fact, he has broke that promise 4 times since we made it. Before he took 50 million coins of free stuff (contraband), his in game net worth was 30 million under mine, but after he took 50 million contraband, his net worth  was 20 million above mine. I was so mad I almost quit, but my other friend Silas gave me hope that I could beat Albert. But the thing is I could, but I can only play 3 days a week and Albert can play every day so it will take a long time and effort. I must grind very hard to beat Albert. But I will beat him, and he knows.

Skiing was really fun, as they were trails that I had not been to before. I went to a dog shelter on the first day, after the camp. We built about 2 projects a day. When we built race cars, we raced them. Alana and Kayla built a dance lesson by coding a motion sensor. I also built a motion sensor. Some people made their cars go up the hills. It was extremely windy when we had to go outside to recess and lunch. I also went Ice Skating on Friday. The teacher taught us 1 foot spins and Salchows and Back Spins. On Saturday, I also practiced a lot. We were planning to go with 2 other families that we knew very well. The driving took 4 hours but, we took longer than that we had to drive through a snow-storm that lasted for about a hour and, for half the trip we could barely see where we were going.

When we finally got there the other families had informed us that both of them had to go through tremendous traffic resulting in the fact that they would unfortunately be making it 2 hours later then expected. After what seemed like hours they finally got to the air-BNB and went to sleep. The next day dad drove me to ski school and for the first time I went up the ski lift. It felt better and less scarier then expected it was so much fun! Then, we came back to Sunnyvale a few days after. While walking on the road we saw a snake, deer, and even some fish in the creeks he hiked up a very tall mountain, I think about 500 meters high. We walked on a very small road and one side of it was mountain while the other side was a cliff. it was kind of dangerous but we got to the end. Going down the mountain was very fun and my dad and I wanted to climb to the very top even though there was no road that led to he top. We finally climbed to the top only to find a few trees I ran down the mountain at speeds of a estimated of 20 miles per hour. I ran down all the roads all the way to the end. For most of the time, the weather was very cold outside (9 degrees Fahrenheit), so we had to wait it out until Thursday to actually go somewhere. Reno was very far from a lot of the ski destinations in Lake Tahoe, so we had to start driving early. On Thursday, we went tubing, which was very fun, but also very tiring. We had to pull the tubes back up the hill, which was a grueling process, especially since the sun was shining on me while I was wearing 5 layers of sweaters and jackets. Then me and my dad went snowmobiling. On Friday, we drove down to Mt. Rose to go sledding. It was very fun, however  it was quite dangerous because there were many people there, so I was easy to crash into somebody unexpectedly. Unfortunately, we had to leave on Saturday. When I came back from Carmel, I just read and worked a little bit more on my presentation. When I went to bed, I had a feeling in my stomach at the thought of going to school, cause I didn't want to. My uncle lives there so I also got to play with him, too. I even ate yummy food. (mostly Korean food.) I even met my dad's professor and played games there, too. It was a fun time but we had to leave.

We preformed our duet and he left the room right after, and we did fine. On Saturday, we had the award ceremonies. We played badminton and water colored a collage of botanical things. After I came home, we went to the Cheescake Factory restaurant. On Friday one of my friends came over and we played badminton, water colored and watched TV. On Saturday I went ice skating and had a lot of fun because my teacher was teaching us new tricks like the bunny hop, forward lunges, spins and t-stops. It was really arduous and exhausting but enjoyable. That evening, my family and I went to my cousins house and I played table tennis with them.  It was hard but I had plenty of help from them. We also started watching Iron Man. On Sunday my friend and her family came to my house for lunch. We watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I also got to read and watch TV throughout the break. Overall it was a enjoyable and relaxing week. I can't wait for the Spring Break!

At Disneyland, we went to the Disney California Adventures theme park. The first ride was called the Incredicoaster, because it was a high-speed roller coaster featuring the Incredibles and Edna E. I was bracing myself and when the camera took our photo on a drop, I couldn't even see myself! Then I went to a swing ride where you swing around in circles in a solo swing. Then I went on the ride called The Golden Zephyr. It was like the swinging ride except we rode in a blimp. We went on a lot of other rides and on Sunday, we went to the Disneyland Park, the original Disneyland Park, and it was super cool there! I went on Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Then I went to Smuggler Run: A millennium falcon adventure, and so many more others such as the Matterhorn mountains, and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It was so amazing! But, I went on a few other rides. Overall, I think in total we got 35-36% of the rides done. But still. I was still good. We (me and my friend) even got dueling lightsabers! Tejas (my friend), got Kylo Ren's, And I got Luke Skywalker's or Rey's Lightsabers.
