The movement they have are mostly all synchronized, everyone mostly does the same movement, there is only 1-2 people making other movement. In our play, we also have parts where most people does the same movement or singing together.

What are the differences?

The difference is, in the video they are mostly doing synchronize movement, but in our play, we only have 1 part where everyone is synchronized. The video has 1-2 people not joining the synchronize.

What are they doing that could be incorporated in to your own?

We should learn from the video that having 1-2people not joining the chorus so our play will give the audience a better idea of the Greek chorus. How would doing that achieve this? I will be telling my group me idea to be able achieve

We used Greek Chorus at when Poseidon is making his choice, we are repeating the last word of the sentence that Poseidon said. When he realized he killed the longevous, we walked beside him and surround him in the middle as a part of chorus because we are going to be saying the same thing and doing the same movement Why?

Masks: In our summative performance, we have used mask very well in our performance. The only people who had mask was the people that had 2 characters. For example, Arda is one of the stone age man also a god (Hephaestus). At the start of the scene he will be wearing the mask and talk as the god, then moving on to the next scene where cave mans are up, he will take his mask off and act as cave man. This is show a person that has 2 characters very well, it is easy for the audience to understand because the mask can show the performer has 2 identity. Yunha is a part of chorus but she also has a mask because the is the messenger.

Chorus: We used Chorus very well in our performance. Few example of chorus we used in our performance was at scene 2, all the chorus people goes on stage and says explain why does humans need fire. At scene 4, when Hephaestus here there is noice outside, chorus people will go around him and say "go outside and check" at the same time, and we will stand in a position around the stage waiting for Prometheus to come in. When Prometheus comes in to find fire, we will be saying "think, think, think" until he finds the fire. At the scene where the gods are coming up with ideas about how to punish Prometheus, we will repeat the last word of the sentence. More example and detail please check reflection October 11-25.

Three actor: The three main character for our performance is Athena (Ana), Zeus (Xin-Yi), and Hephaestus (Arda) which are the three gods in our show.

Romeo kills Tybalt not because of a flaw within himself, but because of the violent feuding spreading across Verona. He himself is not responsible for the feud, an "ancient grudge" that has been in place long before the play opens. Romeo's murder of Tybalt is impulsive, but the act doesn't reveal a deeper lack within his character. Rather, the murder is externally motivated by his circumstances. Similarly, in dying by suicide, Juliet acts rashly and unwisely, but her actions can't be described as a character-driven error so much as a response to her desperate circumstances.

Good of sad stories:

The ending of most sad stories converts useful information and insights to the audience. After experiencing sadness, humans will deeply remember this experience, especially when they see someone else experiencing a very sad experience, they will pay more attention because they are afraid of the same thing happening to themselves.

I agree with Aristotle more because Plato is a bit too idealist, Plato believed that everything had an ideal form, but I believed the same thing as Aristotle which was looking at the real world and studying it. Plato being too idealist can block updated understandings of how the world works, they revel in their own world. But I like following through the world, I accept everything that happens natural.

In the theory of theatre I also agree which Aristotle, he thinks the purpose of drama is to arouse in the audience feelings of pity and fear, and to purge these emotions, thereby making people stronger emotionally. I think the purpose of drama is to let the audience have the same feeling as the performer, both people should have the same emotion as the character, I think letting people feel the emotion is also a important in theatre, because the purpose of drama is the conveying emotions and deliver information
