Where were you born and raised and what did you enjoy most about your high school years?

• I was born in São Paulo, Brazil and live there until I was about 12 years old. Then, I moved to Miami for middle/high school. Personally, I like to think I was raised equally in both places. My favorite memory of high school was having the same routine as my friends in terms of classes and extracurriculars.

What is your favorite food?

• Sushi, by far.

What is your ideal way to spend your weekends?

• Watching old Disney movies with my partner and my dog while eating an absurd amount of Movie-Theater style popcorn.

What is your ideal way to spend your weekends?

• My ideal weekend includes a nice Carne Asada (BBQ) at my parent’s backyard with lots of family time, a drive out to the outdoors to explore places, or a lot of relaxing time at home.

• I’m in love with Rhea’s smile. Each time I get a smile from her, whether in the morning or when I return from work, it washes away any negativity or bad feelings. This infectious smile reminds me that everything is going to be alright.      

What advice would you give to a first time parent?

• My advice to new parents is that we need to remind ourselves that we are doing the best we can. It’s easy to slip into a mindset that we’re not doing enough as parents. At the end of the day if your baby is happy, healthy, and growing, then you’re doing an amazing job as a parent.
