         <description><![CDATA[<p>Most of Indonesia's islands are mountainous.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Pacific and Indian Ocean plates have been moving into the Eurasian plate which Indonesia is the meeting point of those plates causing the mountainous terrain.&nbsp; Indonesia&nbsp;has roughly 220 active volcanoes.  The ash of those volcanoes make the soil very fertile for growing. Although, frequent eruptions cause nothing but loss of land and lives on the islands of Java and Bali. The areas near the equator receive abundant rainfall throughout the year. But the other areas get seasonal rainfall.  Those areas also have a dry season and can experience major water shortages.          <description><![CDATA[<p>There are approximately 40,000 species of flowering plants, including 5,000 species of orchids. Among the most notable native plants is the monster flower (<i>Rafflesia arnoldii</i>), which is the largest flower in the world.  There also more than 3,000 types of trees.  In the lowlands and hills there&nbsp;are lush forests that display a huge range of vegetation.  The plants can range from enormous trees to woody vines. There are plants that live on top of each other too.</p>]]></description>

 was first sewn by Fatmawati, wife of the first Indonesian president, 
Sokarno. The flag was revealed during Indonesia's declaration of
