I am working as an associate professor at Mersin University Faculty of Education in Turkey. I am about to complete my 17th year as an academic. At the same time, I am the Erasmus coordinator in the department of primary education at the faculty. I have worked on many projects with pre-service teachers and primary school students. I took part in national and international congresses, symposiums, and workshops.

I am very happy to work with you on this project. It will be very nice if teacher candidates from different countries take part in this project for a common purpose.

I'm Aleyna UĞUR.

I am a third year student of primary school teaching at Balıkesir University, Faculty of Necatibey Education in Turkey. Actually, I live in İstanbul. I came Balıkesir for school. I am 20 now but I am going to be 21 one month later :) I have two sisters. I have two nieces and two nephews. Their ages are very close to each other. The youngest one is 3 months old and the oldest one is 4 years old. When I graduate, my students are ready :))
I love kids and my passion is to tell people things. Therefore, I think this job is for me. Our students are more pure and well-intentioned. They are a gem and we need to process them well in every sense. As our project got its name, first we must ask ourselves what kind of world do we want. In light of this, we should ask the children this question and make them internalize it. In this way, we can create consciousness. I think that the work we do will also contribute a lot to us in this area. I believe we will do our best.
I took a road to improve myself this year and I took a few step. This project is one of them. First time I'm involved a project which is international. Therefore I am so excited. I’m a student of Mersin University/faculty of education. I’m 3rd year in here. I love Mersin and my university. I spend quality time here. Furthermore, I love my department and I really want to educate a better generation for our world. So, our department is fundamental. I’m proud of ourselves💜.
If we look at my interests, I love listening to rock and metal music 🥰. I love to Bring Me The Horizon, The Cure, Nothing But Thieves, and Jeff Buckley. Sometimes I draw illustration style but it’s not systematic so, I couldn’t improve myself yet. On the other hand, I'm trying to play an instrument called "bağlama". It's Turkish. I love reading books a lot but these days, unfortunately, I can’t catch time for reading books. But i’m trying to improve myself as much as possible. Also, I love watching movies. I love to watch festival films and science fiction so i love Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s films and i love Dune movie. I read Dune series and I’m big fan of Dune.
