My current project, Lithromantic, is a series of cloisonné jewellery with a story that describes the process of lithromantic’s love, and this object is one of the three pieces in this series. 
 
Lithromantic demonstrates a romantic orientation on the asexual spectrum describes an individual who feels romantic attraction towards others, however, does not desire reciprocation of that attraction or does not wish to enter a romantic relationship.

My current project mainly discusses the intimate relationship between wearer and jewellery. When something “unpleasant” becomes a delicate and warm piece of jewellery worn on the body, people’s reaction and feelings are hard to predict. At this point, the jewelry really communicates with the wearer.

I still learning jewelry design in Birmingham city university. I did a project is about culture. Cultures are tolerant and not contradictory. I use the combination of Chinese shadow puppets and Western pocket watches to reflect the integration of Chinese and Western culture. I think that traditional culture not only exists in the past, it can also be widely spread in combination with the modem. Chinese and foreign, ancient and modern, culture is not contradictory, and had a long history.
